Winter Landscape

A wooden house sleeps by the river’s bend,
Wrapped in snow, where pine trees send
Whispers through the frozen air,
Their branches heavy, strong and bare.
Smoke curls up into the sky,
As silence reigns and time drifts by.
The river glows in pale moonlight,
A winter dream, calm and white.
