In the forest deep and wide,
A mighty bear begins to stride.
With shaggy fur and thunderous paws,
It roams the woods without a pause.
It climbs the trees, it swims the stream,
Its golden eyes like lanterns gleam.
Though fierce in might, it loves its den,
And sleeps through winter’s frozen end.
